Donation Machine is a machine in The Binding of Isaac.

Touching the machine will donate 1¢ to it, increasing the displayed total by one.

The total amount of donations persist between runs and contribute towards unlocking specific items, and upgrading the shop, resulting in better shop layouts.

Donation Machines cannot appear while achievements are disabled.

Possible payouts
• 2% chance to grant +1 luck.
• 0.15% chance to jam the machine, making it unavailable for the rest of the run. This chance increases by +0.15% with each coin donated during the run.
• increase Angel Room chance for every 10 pennies donated.

Final payout
• Happens when donating the 1000th penny, which makes the machine explode, spawning ~12 dimes.
• This will reset the total amount of donations back to 0¢, without reverting any previously unlocked achievements or shop upgrades.

When destroyed
• 7-14 pennies. These pennies, plus an additional 1 penny, are deducted from the total amount of donations.
• The machine stays destroyed for the rest of the run.
