Cell Game is a machine in Fiend Folio, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

Costs 1 Key to play.

When given a key, the beggar will lift one of the skulls up, revealing a penny, key, heart, bomb, or Skeleton Key. He will then shuffle the skulls around and wait for Isaac to bump into one of them, which will result in a payout.

If colored locks are present in the room, the beggar can also display one of the 3 colored Puzzle Keys.

The skull Isaac bumps into is not relevant.

Leaving the room before bumping into a skull will reset the prize.

Possible payouts
The chance for a pickup payout starts at 60%, but is lowered by 3% with each play, down to a minimum of 40%.

The remaining chance goes to Puzzle Keys if any Colored Locks are present in the room, otherwise a pickup is selected again.

There's a 50/50 chance to either win or spawn an enemy Skuzz.

If a pickup is selected, 3-4 of the previously shown pickups are spawned, or 5-6 if a penny was shown. These can be of any variant.

Final payout
The chance for the final payout ( Skeleton Key) is fixed at 3%.

When destroyed
Drops one or more of the following (separate chances):
• 100% -> random coin
• 50% -> 1-3 additional coins
• 50% -> 1-2 random keys
• 60% -> 1 random pickup
• 35% -> 2 random pickups
