Kalu's Severed Head is an active item in Fiend Folio, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

When used, equips a dog head in Isaac's hands that, when a firing button is used and held down, will create a dark cone of vision with limited range that can be aimed in any direction.

Enemies caught in the cone get petrified and receive 2% of Isaac's damage, 6 times per second.

If an enemy is killed by the cone, they will burst into a ring of 8 friendly tears which deal damage equal to Isaac's and inherit his tear effects.

Holding down the fire button will gradually deplete the charge bar, which lasts up to 1.5 seconds. Letting go of the firing buttons, or using the item again will cancel its use without fully depleting the charge.

Enemies will stay petrified for a short while after leaving the cone, with the duration scaling with how long they've been inside the cone.

Bosses and mini-bosses that make contact with the cone will get petrified for 4 seconds, no matter how long they've been inside the cone. The effect can even end while they are still inside the cone.
