Nitro Crystal is a trinket in Fiend Folio, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

Picking up coins grants a temporary speed and tear rate boost that decays over time.

A single penny grants +0.34 speed and tears that lasts for 8 seconds. Other types of coins apply a multiplier to the boost that is calculated using a logarithmic formula:
• Double Penny → x2
• Nickel → x5
• Dime → x10

These multipliers directly affect the duration of the boost, but the stat ups are calculated as: log(NitroBoost, 10) / 5.

Doubles the chances of Golden Boom Flies, Golden Mightflies, and Shine Spits appearing.
