Abyssal Heart is a pickup in Heaven's Call, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

Grants +1 Abyssal Heart. These must be contained within a Broken Heart.
If no empty Broken Hearts are available: +1 Broken Heart.

Has a 1/500 chance of replacing any type of Red Heart.

When Depleted
Protects Isaac from damage.

Triggers the effect of The Necronomicon.

10% chance to be destroyed.
100% chance to be destroyed when playing as The Lost or Tainted Lost.

While Abyssal Hearts are Full
Picking up any type of heart Isaac cannot hold more of will grant a small permanent between 0.005–0.4. The amount varies with heart rarity.

The current number of Abyssal Hearts functions as a damage multiplier for this bonus.

While Abyssal Hearts are Not Full
Picking up any type of heart Isaac cannot hold more of will regenerate the Abyssal Heart with a chance between 14%–75%, based on heart rarity.
