Dark Arts is an unlockable active item in The Binding of Isaac, added in the Repentance DLC.
+1 speed.
Allows Isaac to walk through enemies/bullets for 1 second, or until he shoots. Walking through them will freeze them until the effect ends, then deal damage to them equal to 2 × DamageStat + 3.5. If multiple enemies/projectiles get caught in the attack, each consecutive attack deals an additional 3.5 damage.
At the end of the effect, an area of blast is created, dealing more damage the more enemies or projectiles were pierced during the effect.
When used as Black Judas or Tainted Judas, they will gain a temporary +1 damage bonus for every enemy/projectile walked through, that wears off at a rate of -0.25 every half a second.
During the effect, Isaac is unable to collect pickups or use machines/beggars.
The effect can be used to walk freely through Curse Rooms and walk over spikes, or open Spiked Chests.
Invulnerable enemies will still grant bonuses even if they cannot be damaged.
