Everchanging is a passive item in neverbirth, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

On pickupChooses a random appearance for Isaac for this run.

The selected appearance takes priority over ordinary item costumes.

Picking up an additional copy chooses another appearance, avoiding the previous one when multiple compatible choices are available.

Everchanging can be found in the following item pools:

This is a cosmetic change: it does not switch character type or grant another character's abilities.

Compatible characters keep the chosen appearance between rooms and floors.

Unsupported character sprite layouts keep their usual appearance.

Losing some copies does not choose a new style while at least one remains.

Losing the last copy restores Isaac's normal appearance.
