Offspring of Evolution is an active item in Daydream all Day, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

Converts the closest passive item pedesral into an assortment of pickups (like Tainted Cain), and grants 1 copy of that item.

Getting that copy will be considered as granting that item for 1 time.

Every use will add the value with special color by 1, 32 at most.

Does nothing if no item can be copied.

Does not work to deal items.

Items can be converted while the pickup animation is playing.

If Offspring of Evolution is used in a room with linked choice item pedestals, only one of them will be converted, while the others will vanish as if Isaac took them.
