Expurgation is a passive item in Eclipsed, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

When Isaac takes damage, the source of the damage is marked with a white cross.

If an enemy is already marked, summons light from above that deals 2 damage per tick (20 per second) for up to 12 max damage.

When marked enemies die, they shoot beams of light in 4 directions which deal Isaac's damage per tick up to 15 times.
