Divine Intervention is an unlockable passive item in The Binding of Isaac, added in the Repentance DLC.

Double-tapping a fire button creates a shield that slowly moves in the chosen direction and disappears after 1 second.

The shield has a variety of effects as listed below.

It will push back enemies, causing them to take damage upon hitting a wall or enemy, as well as deal damage to hit enemies. Both damage amounts are equal to 10 + 2 × CurrentFloor.

It will reflect back enemy tears, dealing damage to enemies depending on the source of the tear. Damage is 6 for tears that would deal half a heart of damage to Isaac, and 7 if they would deal a full heart.

Reflected projectiles do not inherit Isaac's tear effects.

It can also reflect enemy lasers, dealing 7 damage per tick (105 per second). It is also capable of reflecting The Beast's laser.
