Vade Retro is an unlockable active item in The Binding of Isaac, added in the Repentance DLC.
While heldEnemies leave behind small, red ghosts upon death.
On useCauses all red ghosts to explode, dealing damage to nearby enemies and destroying projectiles.
The explosion cannot hurt Isaac or damage the environment.
The explosion deals damage equal to 3 + 0.04 × EnemyMaxHealth + (CurrentFloor - 1) × 0.5. Each explosion can hit the same enemy up to 4 times.
The blast radius scales with how powerful the explosion is.
Instantly kills any enemy that has the "ghost" tag and is at 50% or less HP, including bosses. This can even be used to kill Delirium if it transforms into such an enemy. Enemies that are currently not visible on screen are not detonated.
Detonates Isaac's ghost after his death, dealing 200 damage to nearby enemies.
Ghosts can be slightly pushed around by shooting at them.
