Alternate Path Exit Room is an unlockable room in The Binding of Isaac, added in the Repentance DLC.

These rooms appear attached to the Boss Room once the boss has been defeated, and offer a way of traversing to the alternate path.

The door's appearance is different based on the floor it leads to, and has different requirements:
• Downpour/Dross → requires a key.
• Mines/Ashpit → requires 2 explosions.
• Mausoleum/Gehenna → requires 2 hearts.
• Corpse → requires Knife Piece 1 and Knife Piece 2.
