Scorched Earth is an unlockable passive item in Job, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

(What's a tainted item?)

Upon entering a room, rocks will have a 7.5% chance of turning into red, blue, purple or normal fireplace.

Each fireplace will have 2 of their corresponding wisp orbiting them, with various effects:
㊋ - Red wisps that shoot normal blood tears at a medium rate.
㊋ - Red wisps that shoot an arc of 2-3 blood tears at a medium rate.
㊋ - Blue wisps that shoot regular tears at a fast rate.
㊋ - Purple wisps that shoot homing tears that deal more damage but travel at slower rate.

Wisps despawn as the fireplace is put out.

Each copy of this item increases chance to replace rocks with fireplaces further by 7.5% and each fireplace gains +1 wisp.
