Description
Cannot have Red Heart containers. Any item that gives Red Heart containers will grant a 
Black Heart instead.
All items (with the exception of spawned items, boss room, and boss challenge room) will cost Broken Hearts. Tainted Mastema is able to remove Broken Hearts by using his pocket active item, Desecrated Heart.
Tainted Mastema has innate flight and triple shot. Devil room items have a 33% chance of appearing in treasure rooms.
The Broken Heart cost of items is determined by their quality:

In Greed Mode, coins spawned from waves have a 15% chance of being replaced with a 
Half Soul Heart.

The following special synergies and interactions for Tainted Mastema have been documented.
