Carving Tools is a passive item in Reverie, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

Spawns Haniwa familiars after destroying rocks. Destroying different rock variants will spawn a unique Haniwa. The Haniwa will attack enemies in the room, each having a different attack depending on their variant.

There is a max of 8 Haniwa at a time.

Haniwa Soldier (Normal rocks)

Can take up to 5 hits. Does melee attacks, dealing 3 damage per tick (8.18 per second).

Haniwa Officier (Tinted rocks)

Can take up to 10 hits. Does melee attacks, dealing 8 damage per tick (21.82 per second).

Haniwa General (Super special rocks)

Can take up to 20 hits. Does melee attacks, dealing 20 damage per tick (54.55 per second).

Kamikaze Haniwa (Bomb rocks)

Can only take 1 hit. Self-destructs when making contact with an enemy, dealing 185 explosion damage.

Haniwa Archer (Spiked rocks)

Can take up to 5 hits. Shoots piercing tears 2.73 times per second, each tear deals 5 damage.

Brass Haniwa (Fool's gold)

Can take up to 10 hits. Cuts enemies extremely fast when making contact, dealing 1 damage per tick (30 per second).

Tomb Haniwa (Pots/Buckets)

Can take up to 5 hits. Shoots poisonous tears 2.73 times per second, each tear deals 2 damage.

Haniwa Mage (Mushrooms)

Can take up to 5 hits. Shoots burning, ice or electric tears 2.73 times per second, each tear deals 2 damage.

Haniwa Skeleton (Skulls)

Can take up to 5 hits. Shoots splitting bone tears 2.73 times per second, each tear deals 3 damage.

Flesh Haniwa (Polyps)

Can take up to 5 hits. Shoots blood tears 2.73 times per second, each tear deals 8 damage.
