Kaleidoscope is a passive item in TBOI Ascension, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

tears have a specific chance to be imbued with randomized status effects.

The activation probability scales with the player's Luck stat:
At 0 Luck, the activation chance is 30%.
Each point of Luck increases this chance by 10%.
The activation chance stops increasing and caps permanently at 70% when reaching 4 Luck or higher.

If the activation roll succeeds, the number of random effects applied is also determined by the player's current Luck:
At 0 Luck, a tear receives a random number of effects between 1 and 5.
Each point of Luck increases the maximum upper limit by 2 effects.
The absolute maximum limit is capped at 30 random effects, which is achieved at 12 Luck or higher.

Fractured SplitWhen primary tear collides or dies it will spawn 2 rainbow tears.
Rainbow Tears deal 50% of Isaac's damage
Rainbow Tears size are 20% smaller than original primary tear.

Rainbow tears duration in flight before falling down scales with the Isaac's Range stat.
Each 1.0 point of Range gives the shard 0.5 seconds of flight time.
If Isaac's Range stat drops below 1.0, the lifetime stops decreasing. Rainbow tears will always stay in the air for 0.5 seconds before disappearing.

Rainbow Tears also affected by luck like primary tears.
