Fire of Alexandria is an unlockable passive item in Epiphany, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

While in a room with active enemies, burning pages fall from the sky at random locations, leaving behind flames that damage enemies.

The flames last for 5 seconds and deal 22 damage on the first hit, then 16.5, 11, and 11 - for a total of 4 hits.

Pages tend to avoid falling onto rocks and other grid entities.

Picking up an active item causes the previous one to be burned, spewing 5 flames in a small radius that deal 17.6 damage on the first hit, then 12.1, 11, and 11 - for a total of 4 hits.

Each item burned increases the frequency at which burning pages fall. The frequency stops increasing after the 4th item is burned.

Burning items also contributes to certain upgrades which happen upon burning a set amount of items:
• 3 burned items: streaks of fire jets are created when a flame extinguishes by itself. They consist of 3 upward jets in all 4 cardinal directions, each dealing 10 damage to enemies.
• 6 burned items: a flame is spawned under Isaac every second, which lasts for 3 seconds.
• 9 burned items: increases both the pages and the flames they create by 50%, and doubles their damage output. The damage of the fire jets is doubled as well.

Burning golden items counts as having burned 2 regular ones.

Achieve Milestone #1 by unlocking 20% of Epiphany's achievements.
