Killer Instinct is an unlockable active item in Epiphany, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

If used while not shooting, deals damage to enemies in a small radius around Isaac equal to 2.5x Isaac's damage.

If used while shooting, Isaac dashes in the shooting direction, dealing 2x damage if he hits an enemy.

Both the radius and contact damage cannot go below 4.25.

The dash is short-ranged and lasts for only half a second.

Isaac will bounce off if he hits an enemy or a wall/obstacle.

The enemy hit gets knocked back and will receive 2.7x Isaac's damage if slammed into a wall.

Dashing grants invincibility frames and can be used to enter Curse Rooms for free, walk over spikes, dodge projectiles, etc.

Hitting an enemy with the dash grants additional 0.67 seconds of invincibility.

Golden variant Using the item while not shooting also drops down 2 of Tarnished Samson's boulders which can be picked up and thrown at enemies. Up to 4 boulders can be active at a time, or 6 if in a large or L-shaped room.

When used by Tarnished Samson Cannot be used when not shooting.

Using it while holding a boulder over the head makes Tarnished Samson smash himself with the boulder, losing half of his current health (prioritizing red hearts), triggering his Immortal Rage effect.

Earn all completion marks as Tarnished Samson.
