Crooked Penny is an unlockable active item in The Binding of Isaac, added in the Afterbirth+ DLC.

Has a 50% chance to double all items and pickups in the current room.

If the effect fails, removes all items and pickups and spawns a single Penny instead.

Can be used to take Shop and Devil Room items for free, if duplicated.

Crooked Penny

• 50% chance to duplicate all items, pickups, and chests in the current room
• If the duplication effect fails, it instead consumes all items, pickups, and chests in the room and spawns a penny
• Abyss: x1 locust 1x Isaac's damage
• Book of Virtues: x1 middle wisp - 2 hp - 3 damage
• Book of Virtues: When taking damage, all Crooked Penny wisps are duplicated or killed
