Eraser is an active item in The Binding of Isaac, added in the Repentance DLC.

Makes Isaac hold the Eraser above his head that can be thrown with a shooting button in the desired direction.

Upon hitting an enemy, the type of enemy will be permanently erased and will no longer appear for the rest of the run. This is indicated by a pink puff appearing when such an enemy attempts to spawn.

If a boss is hit, it will instead deal 15 damage to him. If this damage is enough to kill it, the boss will be erased for the rest of the run.

Cannot be recharged normally. Only recharges automatically upon entering a new floor.

Eraser

• Throws the Eraser in the direction of your choice
• Upon striking an enemy, the Eraser will instantly destroy it and all copies of it, and prevent that enemy type from spawning again for the rest of the run
• Does not erase bosses and only deals minor damage to them
• Can be thrown once per floor. Cannot be recharged through normal methods
• Abyss: x1 erasing locust .75x Isaac's damage
• Book of Virtues: x1 middle wisp - 2 hp - 3 damage
• Book of Virtues: Immune to projectiles
• Book of Virtues: Touching an enemy erases it and kills the wisp
