Akeldama is an unlockable passive item in The Binding of Isaac, added in the Repentance DLC.

Creates a trail of tears while in a room with enemies that Isaac drags behind him.

Each tear in the trail deals 3.5 damage.

The shorter the trail is, the faster it grows. The trail consists of 20 tears at its maximum length.

Clearing the room will stop the trail for regenerating.

Another trail of tears may appear if the trail is cut in the middle.

Has a 1% chance of being dropped upon defeating The Shell.
