Stitches item
Stitches is an active item in The Binding of Isaac, added in the Repentance DLC.
Description
On pickupSpawns a familiar that can be controlled with the firing buttons, that deals 1.5 damage per tick (3 per second).
On useCauses Isaac to swap places with the familiar, making him briefly invincible whilst teleporting.
Teleporting onto an enemy deals 3 × DamageStat + 40 damage to the enemy.
Teleporting onto a fire place will put it out, including fire places that require an explosion in order to destroy them.
The brief immunity can be used to enter Curse Rooms and open Spiked Chests for free.

Stitches
• While held, grants a familiar that can be controlled with the attack buttons and deals minor contact damage to enemies
• Activation swaps places with the familiar. This teleport grants a brief moment of invulnerability and can damage enemies and destroy some obstacles in direct contact with Isaac
• Abyss: x1 dashing locust .75x Isaac's damage
• Book of Virtues: x1 stationary wisp - 2 hp - 1.5 damage
• Book of Virtues: Wisp is left at teleport location
• Book of Virtues: Wisp lasts for the room
