Heartbreak item
Heartbreak is an unlockable passive item in The Binding of Isaac, added in the Repentance DLC.
Description
+3 Broken Hearts.
+0.25 damage for every Broken Heart Isaac has.
Causes every fatal hit to add 2 more Broken Hearts instead of killing Isaac, and deal 40 damage to all enemies in the room.
This effect won't prevent death from Devil Deals.

Heartbreak
• Grants damage up for each broken heart
• Gives 3 broken hearts on pickup
• Upon taking fatal damage, this item prevents death and instead deals 40 damage to all enemies in the room and adds 2 more broken hearts
• Abyss: x1 locust 1.5x Isaac's damage
