Salvation is an unlockable passive item in The Binding of Isaac, added in the Repentance DLC.

Creates an angelic halo around Isaac that, when an enemy comes in contact with, a beam of light starts forming above them. If they stay in the halo for about a second, a beam of light will strike down on them, dealing damage to them and creating 4 more beams in the cardinal directions.

The initial beam does 3.5 damage per tick, up to 15 times, and the others deal 1.75 per second, up to 15 times.

The halo will grow in size each time Isaac takes damage, up to a maximum of 10 times. The size resets after leaving the floor.

Salvation

• Grants an aura of holy light. Enemies that stand in the aura long enough are struck by a beam of light that deals heavy damage
• The beam fires additional beams in all 4 cardinal directions from the point of impact
• The size of the aura increases each time Isaac is damaged, up to 10 times. Its size resets at the start of each new floor
• Abyss: x1 holy locust 1.5x Isaac's damage
