Kindling Book is an active item in Library Expanded, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

Sets all enemies in the room on fire for 4.07 seconds, making them receive 15 damage per tick (22.5 per second).

The book will eventually burn out and drop, becoming Burnt Book.

Each use of the book has a 90% chance to add to the counter which converts the book after reaching 4 uses.

When the conversion happens, Isaac takes fake damage ( Dull Razor) and spawns 5 Hot Bombs flames around him.

This item contributes towards the Bookworm transformation. Collecting 3 items from this set will make Isaac fire an extra tear 25% of the time.
