Blood Gem item
Blood Gem is an active item in Reverie: Make Good Omissions, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.
Description
Grants a chance to spawn rewards for the cost of half a red heart (or a full heart starting from The Womb).
• 10% chance to spawn a random pill.
• 15% chance to spawn a random card or rune.
If no rewards are spawned after using it 3 times in a row, the next use is guaranteed to spawn a reward.

Trivia
Its inclusion in the Shop item pool is a design tribute to a card of the same name in Hearthstone's "Battlegrounds" mode.
