Sonic Screwdriver is an active item in Reverie: Make Good Omissions, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

Can be used even when the charge is not full.

Upon use, pressing an attack button will cause a swipe attack that deals 300% of Isaac's damage to enemies and knocks them back, without consuming a charge.

The swipe can be used to open all chests and doors and does not consume a charge.

Swiping a broken machine will repair it unless it has spawned an item, but requires 3 charges.

Swiping certain machines can convert them into another type of machine, but requires 3 charges. The conversion results are as follows:

• Slot Machine → Fortune Telling Machine
• Fortune Telling Machine → Shop Restock Machine

Swiping an undestroyed Rebecha can repair it to a fully functional state, but requires 3 charges.

Swiping at invalid targets will not consume any charges.

This item pays tribute to the indispensable tool used by the protagonist in Doctor Who.

Its design is derived from the characterization of Rika as an engineer — one capable of manufacturing and operating advanced machinery such as battle tanks and flying mechs.

By comparison, Nitori Kawashiro is portrayed more as a technician. To some extent, she is considered less specialized than Rika and would be unlikely to produce such high-tech devices. Therefore, Rika is designated as the corresponding character for this item.
