Bedtime Story - The Binding of Isaac

Bedtime Story is an active item in Fiend Folio, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

Darkens the screen for 8 seconds and inflicts all enemies with the Drowsy effect over the course of 2 seconds, before making them fall asleep for 6 seconds.

Drowsy enemies will turn blue and begin to slow down until they come to a complete stop and fall asleep.

Sleeping enemies cannot move or attack, and will take double damage on the next hit they take, which will also wake them up immediately.

Damage taken while the enemy is falling asleep won't prevent them from falling asleep.

This item contributes towards the Bookworm transformation. Collecting 3 items from this set will make Isaac fire an extra tear 25% of the time.

They won't turn the screen dark, however. The chance to apply the effect scales with luck, starting at 33.33% with 0 luck, and going up to 100% with 60 luck. The formula used is 'random(0, 25) <= 5 + min(Luck, 10) / 3'.
