Each tear fired by Isaac has a different color and an associated status effect from Fiend Folio.

The status effect has a random chance to be applied, and is different for each status effect. The chance is not influenced by luck.

Carmine Red: Berserked (6.66%; 6 seconds) ( Lil Minx)

Ivory: Hemorrhaging (25%; 6 seconds) ( Sanguine Hook)

Lilac: Bruised (20%; 4 seconds) ( Sanguine Hook)

Violet: drowsy (2 seconds) + sleepy (6 seconds) (20%) ( Bedtime Story).

Cyan: martyr (16.66%; 5 seconds) ( Crucifix)

Leather Brown: Sewn (40%; 7 seconds) ( Pinhead)

Dark Brown: Doom (100%; 6 seconds) ( Toy Piano)

Pink: critical tear (4%) ( Imp Soda)

Sky Blue: amulet tear (25%) ( Dichromatic Butterfly)

Black & White: multi-euclidean tear (25%) ( Time Itself)
