Blood Bombs is a passive item in The Binding of Isaac, added in the Repentance DLC.

On pickup +1 full Red Heart container.

Heals 5 Red Heart containers.

While heldAllows Isaac to place down bombs even when he doesn't have any, in exchange for half a heart of self-damage (prioritizes red hearts).

Causes Isaac's bombs to leave a pool of red creep on the ground upon exploding, that deals 2 damage per tick (20 per second) and lasts for 15 seconds.
