Larynx is an unlockable active item in The Binding of Isaac, added in the Repentance DLC.

Isaac shouts, damaging and pushing away nearby enemies, and destroying obstacles and doors.

Can be used when the item is not fully charged, which affects the damage and range of the shout.

Damage of the shout is equal to 20 + 28 × ChargesUsed. Extra ticks of damage are dealt to enemies that are close enough: 2.5 + 3.5 × ChargesUsed.

The item gains 1 charge when Isaac takes damage.

Larynx

• Isaac yells, releasing a shockwave that damages enemies within its range
• Can be activated at any number of charges above zero
• The size and damage of the shockwave scales with the number of charges larynx has when activated
• Gains 1 bar of charge each time Isaac takes damage, in addition to normal charging methods
• Abyss: x1 screaming locust 1x Isaac's damage
• Book of Virtues: x1 middle wisp - 2 hp - 3 damage
• Book of Virtues: Wisp gets more HP and damage per charge expended
