Sharp Key is an active item in The Binding of Isaac, added in the Repentance DLC.

On pickup +5 Keys.

On useIsaac holds a key above his head that can be launched by pressing a fire button, consuming a key from his inventory.

The key acts as a piercing projectile and deals damage to enemies equal to 5 × DamageStat + 30.

The key will open any locked doors (including Secret Rooms) and chests it hits, as well as open up Key Blocks, but will break upon impact with one, or by hitting an obstacle.

Enemies killed by the key have a chance to spawn the contents of a chest.

Keys inherit Isaac's tear effects.

Sharp Key

• Consumes 1 key to launch a sharpened key projectile in the direction of your choice
• The key damages and pierces enemies, and can also open the first lock or destroy the first obstacle it collides with
• Enemies killed by the key projectile have a chance to drop pickups or a pedestal item reward, similar to opening a chest
• Abyss: x1 locust .75x Isaac's damage
• Book of Virtues: x1 middle wisp - 2 hp - 3 damage
