Lil Portal is an unlockable familiar in The Binding of Isaac, added in the Repentance DLC.

Spawns a familiar that follows Isaac and can be launched by double-tapping a shooting key.

The familiar will consume pickups and trinkets in its path, converting them into Blue Flies while increasing its size.

Upon consuming 1 + 1 × CurrentFloor pickups, it will spawn a purple portal that leads to a special room. The contents of this room remain unchanged for the duration of the run, and it may be accessed from any floor by creating the portal again.

The portal remains in the same place it was initially created, even after Isaac leaves the room. Its location will be marked on the map.

After creating a portal, the familiar disappears until the next floor, where another portal can be created that leads back to the same room.

Damage dealt by the familiar is equal to 2 + 2 × ConsumablesDestroyed + 2 per tick, ticking up to 10 times per second. This damage cannot exceed 6.

The familiar does not deal damage or consume pickups while following behind Isaac. It must be launched in order to do so.

Any trapdoors created in the portal room will lead to the I AM ERROR room.

Lil Portal

• Following familiar that can be launched by double-tapping an attack button
• While launched, deals contact damage to enemies and consumes pickup items it touches. Spawns 1 blue fly for each pickup consumed
• Grows bigger as it consumes pickups, and eventually transforms into a stationary portal to a unique room that will store items dropped in it
• Returns to its familiar form at the start of each new floor, and must consume more pickups to open the portal again
• Abyss: x1 hungry locust .5x Isaac's damage
