Sworn Protector is an unlockable familiar in The Binding of Isaac, added in the Afterbirth DLC.

Spawns an orbital familiar that blocks enemy shots and deals 7 damage per tick (52.5 per second).

The familiar attracts enemy shot to itself. If a shot is inside the familiar's range, it can no longer deal damage to Isaac unless it slips out of the range.

The familiar has a chance to drop an Eternal Heart upon blocking 10 shots in one room. Can only happen once per room, unless the room is re-entered.

This item contributes towards the Conjoined transformation. Collecting 3 items from this set will make Isaac shoot in 3 directions at the cost of -0.3 damage and -0.3 tears.
