Retrieve (consumable slot)

Does not appear in the character selection screen. It can be accessed via the Dead Baby's Questions challenge.

Health conversion Cannot have Soul Hearts and Black Hearts. Any item that gives a Soul Heart will grant a Rotten Heart instead, and Black Hearts will grant Bone Hearts instead.

Health pickups will get a similar conversion: Half Soul Hearts are replaced with Half Rotten Hearts, and Blended Hearts with Blended Rotten Hearts respectively.

Health pickups have a 50% chance to not transform if one of the characters can have Soul Hearts.

Body parts loss When Dead Baby takes damage he will lose 3 body parts, each giving a unique debuff.

When there is at least one body part missing, Retrieve loses the ability to spew bones and instead will return the closest body part to Dead Baby.

Gaining a body part back will remove its debuff, and getting all body parts back will bring back the bone spew ability.

Lack of the lower jaw will lower Dead Baby's fire rate by half.

Lack of an arm will make Dead Baby unable to use consumables and active items.

Lack of ribs makes Dead Baby unable to hold trinkets, lowers by -0.2, and takes away all pickups. Getting the ribs back will also bring back any lost pickups.
