Grief is an unlockable passive item in The Serpent, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

Cycles between the following effects after clearing a room:
• Grants a one-time-use Holy Mantle shield.
• x1.25 damage and +0.2 shot speed.
• Grants a 33% chance for damage taken in a hostile room to hurt Isaac without taking away any health.
• x1.25 fire rate and +2.5 range.
• No effect.

Defeat Mom's Heart or It Lives! on Hard Mode as The Serpent.
