The Silver Key is an unlockable active item in Benighted Soul, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

Can only be charged by cleaning rooms.

On use Records the current room type (only a few can be recorded) and game timer.

If recorded, tries to reroll the room of the closest door into the recorded type, make the game timer become the recorded one, and resets the record.

Only some uncleared rooms whose types can be recorded or normal rooms can be rerolled.

In a new level, all rooms with the last-recorded type will be rerolled into normal rooms.

• Miniboss Room.
• Treasure Room.
• Planetarium.
• Library.
• Shop.
• Curse Room.
• Sacrifice Room.
• Arcade Room.
• Chest Room.
• Dice Room.
• Isaac's Bedroom.
• Barren.
• Secret Room.
• Super Secret Room.
• Ultra Secret Room.
• Devil Room (with Judas' Birthright).
• Angel Room (with Book of Virtues).

Earn all completion marks on Hard Mode as Benighted Lost.
