Familiar Fly is a familiar in Fiend Folio, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

Spawns a Boom Fly familiar that orbits a long distance away from Isaac, dealing 2 damage per tick (8.57 per second).

While in close proximity to an enemy, the familiar will begin to swell up and eventually explode over the course of 3 seconds, dealing 50 damage to nearby enemies, and shooting 10 tears in a circular fashion that each deal 3.5 damage, and charm enemies.

The familiar respawns 10 seconds after exploding.

Beucase the fly orbits a long distance away from Isaac, the explosion won't normally hurt him.

If enemies are no longer in its proximity, the familiar will deflate back to normal.

The familiar will charm any fly enemies in its close proximity with a duration of 2/3rds of a second.

This item contributes towards the Beelzebub transformation. Collecting 3 items from this set will grant Isaac flight, converts small enemy flies into Blue Flies, and permanently charms larger enemy flies.
