Golem is a character in Fiend Folio, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

All trinkets are replaced with special Rock Trinkets that are semi-exclusive to Golem. They can be of different qualities and types.

The following qualities exist, and they each have their own weight that makes them more or less likely to appear:
• Common: 100
• Rare: 50
• Fiendish: 25
• Self insert: 5
• Extremely rare: 1
• Unobtainable: 0 (does not appear)

3 types of rock trinkets exist:
• Rocks: no special effect
• Fossils: yield additional rewards when crushed
• Geodes: have additional effects when combined with another geode

The following normal trinkets are treated as semi-rock trinkets and as such, can be found by Golem:
• Petrified Poop
• Lucky Rock
• Shiny Rock
• Fool's Gold
• Massive Amethyst
• Top Rock

The following normal trinkets are replaced with rock-trinkets:
• Counterfeit Penny → Ore Penny
• Swallowed Penny → Swallowed Geode
• The Left Hand → The Left Fossil
• Umbilical Cord → Umbilical Geode

At the start of every floor, a button appears that opens up the entrance to a hub room known as Golem's Subway. This hub contains traders and machines exclusive to Golem:
• Mining Machine
• Bismuth Beggar
• Sourpuss
• Unfinished Golem
• Geode Golem
• Babi
• Midarizer
• Sweetpuss

Golem's Subway contains entrances to special rooms throughout the floor, once they have been accessed: Treasure Room, Shop, Secret Room, Boss Room, and the starting room.

Entrances to Golem's Subway can also be found in each of the abovementioned rooms.

A rock trinket will spawn upon entering a Secret Room, and upon defeating the floor's boss.

Random trinket drops, such as from Chests or room clear, have a 50% chance of being replaced with a random rune, and 50% chance for a random pickup.

Smelting a rock trinket reduces its effectiveness to 66%, if applicable. This mostly affects stats granted by trinkets.

Smelted geodes will not grant their synergy bonus when smelted, unless 2 other geodes are held in Golem's trinket slots.
