Chaotic Carving is a passive item in Fiend Folio: RELOADED, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

Adds a charged attack that places down a debuff-inflicting carving (statue) when released.

The carving will remain in place for a few seconds before disappearing. It has an aura around it that applies debuffs to enemies.

The charge bar has 2 additional charges after the first one, and a different carving will appear based on which charge bar is filled.

Level 1 (Wood Carving)


• Charge time: 1.33 seconds.
• Carving duration: 3.33 seconds.
• Aura effect: applies 1 of 3 effects: 40% for confusion that lasts 1.67 seconds; 40% for charm that lasts 1.33 seconds; 20% for the Berserk debuff that lasts 2.5 seconds.

Level 2 (Stone Carving)


• Charge time: 2 seconds.
• Carving duration: 3 seconds.
• Aura effect: continuously petrifies enemies while standing inside the aura, or for 1.17 seconds if the enemy is a boss.

Level 3 (Obsidian Carving)


• Charge time: 1.33 seconds.
• Carving duration: 1.33 seconds.
• Aura effect: freezes enemies in place and deals damage to them when the carving disappears.

This damage is equal to DamageStat × 5 + 5 × CurrentStage + 20.

If the damage is enough to kill the enemy, the enemy will disappear together with the carving.

If the enemy is a boss, it petrifies it for 1.17 seconds as well, but will not make it disappear even if enough damage was dealt.
