Satanic Bible is an unlockable active item in The Binding of Isaac.

+1 Black Heart.

Forces item pedestals that appear after defeating the floor's boss to be replaced by a deal with the devil, meaning items will be pulled from the Devil Room item pool, and must be paid for with heart containers. This effect lasts for the entire floor Satanic Bible was used on.

Taking a devil deal generated this way affects the chance of getting an angel deal for the rest of the run.

Does not change hardcoded boss drops into devil items, such as Cube of Meat from a Harbinger, however the item will still cost hearts.

Exception from the above rule are the items dropped after the Mom fight.

Does not affect the items dropped in The Void.

• Activating this before defeating the current floor's boss will replace the boss reward with a Devil Deal item that costs health to claim
• Abyss: x1 locust 1.5x Isaac's damage
• Book of Virtues: x1 middle wisp - 2 hp - 3 damage
• Book of Virtues: Each Satanic Bible wisp adds 10% Devil Deal chance
