Thanatophilia is an unlockable passive item in Samael, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.
Periodically spawns friendly skeletal monsters from killed enemies.
Will always spawn two skeletons nearby if Isaac doesn't have any.
Friendly skeletons aren't just limited to ones summoned by Book of the Dead, as the mod also provides some enemies from the vanilla game and a few unique skeletons for the roster, such as:
♡ - The bony family, except for Maze Roamers.
♡ - The host family, except for Red/Flesh Hosts and Mushrooms.
♡ - Pasty.
♡ - Necro.
♡ - The Pile.
♡ - The Shell.
♡ - Horseless version of Death, that occasionally shoots big piercing scythes.
♡ - Skeleton version of The Siren, that doesn't fly, but occasionally creates baby skeleton familiars that orbit around her and shoot bone projectiles. She also sometimes releases bone projectiles in every direction.
♡ - Headless Bony and a floating Bony's skull. No difference from regular Bonies aside from the visual. Also exists a floating spider bony head version that also doesn't have a unique behaviour.
♡ - Burning Bonies that instead of shooting, ram at enemies and burst into a small flame and 3 burning bone projectiles in all directions.
♡ - Headless fat skeletons, that do not shoot, but instead jump on enemies and create small shockwaves, alike to Bird Cage.
♡ - Floating skeletal babies, that strongly dash at enemies and shoot a spread of 3 bone projectiles at once.
♡ - Friendly The Forgotten entity, if you kill Isaac boss with it.
Defeat Mother as Tainted Samael.
