Anathema is a passive item in Fiend Folio: RELOADED, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

Causes every 7th tear fired to inflict enemies with the Excommunication status effect.

Excommunication makes enemies instantly teleport off the map and teleport back after 3 seconds.

A marker is set in place where an enemy was teleported away, with an active counter showing how long until they re-appear.

When teleporting back, the enemy spawns a Holy Light-style beam in place that deals 20 base damage to enemies, increased by +1.5 per floor.

The enemy itself receives 7.5 base damage increased by +0.5 based on the current floor.

If the enemy lands on another enemy, they receive the same damage as the damage done to the enemy, increased by x2.5.
