Grants a chalice familiar that gets filled with blood each time Isaac gets hit.
Spawns devil-themed rewards on each floor based on the amount of hits taken on the previous floor.
Possible payouts •
Black Hearts.
• Red Chests.
• Black Locusts.
• A random item from the Devil Room item pool.
If the chalice spawns an item, it will not spawn any of the other possible rewards.
Taking at least one hit per floor will ensure that the chalice will not activate negative effects.
Possible negative payouts • 1-3 broken hearts.
• / removing 2 hearts.
Every 5 hits, the chalice will increase in level. Each level increases the amount of rewards spawned as well as the chance for an item. The level is reset on each new floor after it pays out:
• Level 1: One reward, 5-20% chance for an item.
• Level 2: Two rewards, 25-45% chance for an item.
• Level 3: Three rewards, 50-70% chance for an item.
• Level 4: Four rewards, 75-100% chance for an item.
Costs 2 Heart Containers when found in a Devil Deal, or 30¢ in an Angel Shop.
