Description
Picking up coins, bombs, or keys or any collectible variants of them converts them into Hope counts and adds them to the Hope counter beside the pickup HUD. Up to 99 Hope can be stored.
Anything that costs coins, bombs or keys to use or purchase now consumes Hope count of the same amount instead.
Attempting to place a bomb consumes 2 Hope and casts a light blast instead. The light blast deals 100 damage and synergizes with bomb-related items.
The light blast can be used to destroy rocks and open anything that requires a key or a bomb to open (locked doors, locked chests, bomb chests, etc.).
