Description
Unable to use Soul Hearts and Black Hearts as health. She instead uses them as soul charges, as an alternative to charging active items.

Soul charges are displayed on the HUD and operate at the rate of 1 soul charge per half soul heart. Bethany starts with 4 soul charges.

Soul charges can be used to use an active item without having enough regular charges to do so. This is displayed by the item bar having blue instead of green charges. The amount of blue charges is equal to how many soul charges are going to be consumed if the item is used.

Up to 99 soul charges can be held at a time.
Unlock: Defeat Mom's Heart/It Lives! on Hard Mode as Lazarus without dying during the run.
