Makes a white inverted cross appear over Isaac's head upon entering a Devil Room. If Isaac goes to the next floor with the cross active, he will gain +1 Soul Heart and +1 damage.

Taking anything generated by the Devil Room will result in the icon going away. This includes both items, chests and pickups.

It is safe to pick up stuff that have been spawned after room generation, e.g. enemy drops or room clear rewards.

If a Red Chest generates an item, the item can be taken without the cross disappearing.

The item can be acquired from a Confessional or a Sacrifice Room after a devil deal has been taken.
