Isaac holds a spiky shield in his hands which can be thrown by using the shooting buttons.

Once thrown, the shield will bounce around walls and obstacles around the room, dealing damage to enemies it touches.

The shield deals 5.4 damage per tick (54 per second), although its damage drops if it starts moving slower.

The shield stops moving after a few seconds and stays in place, no longer dealing damage. It automatically returns to Isaac unless picked up manually.

Isaac can pick up the shield while it is still bouncing, allowing him to throw it again.
