Description
Cannot have Red Heart containers. Any item that gives Red Heart containers will grant a
Soul Heart instead.
When entering a room, triggers a Frosty Rift effect which puts out all fire places. A fire place is guaranteed to spawn in every room.
While in a hostile room, Tainted Frosty loses -0.4 damage and -0.1 speed every 5 seconds.
Stat loss is prevented if there is a Blue Fire Place in the room, even if it is extinguished.
Once 100 seconds have passed and Battered Lighter not used, Tainted Frosty converts into ghost form, gaining a Holy Mantle shield per room and dying in one hit, similar to The Lost. He also gains flight and spectral tears, and his tears freeze enemies upon death.
While in ghost form, the Battered Lighter in his inventory gets replaced with the Holy Lighter. Every enemy killed has a 20% chance to spawn a wisp. Using the Holy Lighter while having at least 8 wisps will revert the ghost transformation.
Unlock: Open up the hidden Red Door in the Home level as Frosty.
