Chance Cube is an unlockable active item in Epiphany, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

Has a 50/50 chance to trigger either a positive or a negative effect, with an additional 2% for a positive effect per point of luck stat.

The positive effect chance cannot exceed 95%.

Some effects must meet certain criteria to be selected, shown in [square brackets] in the table below.

When a random stat up/down is selected, the following may be granted:
• ±0.1 speed
• ±0.5 fire rate
• ±0.5 flat damage
• ±0.15 shot speed
• ±0.62 range
• ±1 luck

Below is a list of positive and negative effects. Chances are presented based on the assumption that all conditions are met.

Positive effects
• 0.01% → random stat up
• 0.05% → Lemegeton wisp
• 0.05% → Golden Poop
• 2.69% → random pickup
• 5.37% [item pedestal in the room] → The D6 effect
• 5.37% [item pedestal in the room] → converts all item pedestals in the room to 3-7 random pickups, similar to the effects of Final Wishes
• 26.87% [Greed in Shop] → removes Greed and upgrades the Shop by using Turnover on it
• 1.07% [enemies in the room] → petrifies all enemies for 4 seconds
• 1.07% [enemies in the room] → poisons all enemies for 2 seconds, dealing 2x Isaac's damage
• 2.69% [enemies in the room] → D10 effect
• 5.37% [item for sale in the room] → Coupon effect
• 5.37% [pickups in the room] → D20 effect
• 5.37% [open Chests in the room] → Essence of Cain effect, resealing all Chests in the room
• 5.37% [enemies in the room] → XIII - Death effect
• 0.54% [hold a trinket] → Smelter effect
• 0.27% [hold a trinket] → makes held trinket golden
• 5.37% [in a room with an unopened Secret Room] → spawns a Troll Bomb in front of any Secret Room entrance
• 26.87% [inside the Error Room] → teleports out of the Error Room

Negative effects
• 0.01% → random stat down
• 0.62% → XVI - The Tower effect
• 0.06% → teleports to the Error Room
• 6.21% [item pedestal in the room] → corrupts an item pedestal by applying TMTRAINER onto it
• 6.21% [item pedestal in the room] → causes all item pedestals to explode and disappear
• 31.03% [Greed in Shop] → converts Greed to Ultra Greed
• 6.21% [item for sale in the room] → removes a random sale item
• 6.21% [pickups in the room] → converts every pickup into a Blue Fly
• 3.10% [enemies in the room] → converts every non-boss enemy into a champion, including those that cannot normally appear as champions
• 3.10% [enemies in the room] → rerolls every enemy in the room
• 6.21% [inside the Error Room] → D4 effect
• 31.03% [Mirror in room] → spawns a Troll Bomb next to the Mirror that leads to the alternate floors
